In Ghana, an average of 2.7 million (1 out of 4) young people between the ages of 15-35 experienced NEET across the three quarters in 2022. Females and young youth (15-24) who live in urban areas were the most affected. There is the need for policymakers to pay critical attention to addressing NEET experience among females and young youth who live in urban areas.
